Ronald McDonald House Charities South & Central Australia is proud to announce Zeina Moughnie as the 2025 recipient of the Charlie Bell Scholarship, a national program that supports young people who have experienced serious illness or injury in pursuing their education and career aspirations.

Zeina graduated from Parafield Gardens High School in 2025 and has begun studying a Bachelor of International Relations at the Adelaide University. The $5,000 scholarship will assist with her tertiary education expenses, helping her continue her academic journey and work toward her future career goals.

Each year, Ronald McDonald House South & Central Australia awards a Charlie Bell Scholarship to recognise resilience, determination and ambition in young people connected to its cause.

The scholarship presentation was held at Ronald McDonald House in Adelaide, where Zeina’s family, tutor, supporters and the program staff gathered to celebrate her achievements and hear about her inspiring journey.

Through programs like the Charlie Bell Scholarship, Ronald McDonald House continues its commitment to supporting families and young people beyond their time at the House, helping them build brighter futures.
