With hundreds of families supported annually, we provide warm beds, hot showers, laundry facilities, family-friendly kitchens, stocked pantry and fridge and indoor/outdoor play areas: all the essentials of a family home.
Our House on Melbourne Street can support up to 25 families of any shape or size who can stay with us from 1 night to over a year. When regional families need our support; we’re there.
Our house costs us $160 a night to operate, and with no ongoing state or federal funding, we rely heavily on corporate partners such as your organization to generate enough funds to deliver our services and guarantee that no family is ever refused assistance.
Adopt a Room is a vital program which invites corporate groups to engage directly with the house and our families whilst providing much needed financial support. As a room sponsor, the impact is real– it determines how the house operates and the
services we are able to provide the families.
As hospital stays, treatments and surgeries increase annually, so does the demand for our much-needed service.
